SBDC@SMO (Santa Monica Airport): ethereal, like pooping in a cloud

This is one of my favorites. A former instructor of mine runs a small business out of here. The building is pretty non-descript. According to Google Maps, this is the Small Business Development Center. Based on the geometric lines and symmetry, my guess is it was built in the 60s, before the less subtle hues of the 70s became popular. I ought to read up on it more to be sure. What I do know is that I love it. It's peaceful, serene, the light blue of the tiles, the muted sun light coming through windows and the proximity to the airport bring to mind blue skies and clouds. Everything seems to be from the original construction. Very nice. I wanted to sit on the couch and read a book.
